Heritage Villa

A restored 1930s Dutch colonial villa in Darmo. The owners wanted window treatments that honoured the building's heritage character while providing modern thermal and acoustic performance.

Classic fold Roman shades in natural linen were chosen for the main living spaces. Semi-blackout gorden with a subtle texture were hung in the bedrooms. Period-appropriate wallpaper patterns were selected for the hallways.

The treatments feel as though they have always been part of the house — a compliment the client specifically mentioned on completion. Energy efficiency also improved noticeably.
