Lakeside Retreat

A lakeside home in Citraland where the owners wanted to maximise views of the water while managing insects, afternoon heat, and maintaining privacy from passing boats.

High-transparency sheer vitras were chosen as the primary layer, allowing unobstructed views while filtering UV. Roman shades in cream linen layer over them for afternoon heat control. Kasa magnet screens on all openable windows solved the insect problem invisibly.

The owners now spend significantly more time in the main living area, which they previously avoided due to insects and heat. The view is fully preserved — guests often don't notice the window treatments at all.
